Missing Friends

ANDERSON: Wanted, to know the whereabouts of Ann, Mary or Richard Anderson, who left Dungannon, Co Tyrone, Ireland, bout 40 years. Ann Anderson's married name Wilkinson; oldest son named Andrew. American papers please copy.

BALLANTINE: If Wm. Jas. Ballantine, a painter, formerly of Armagh, sends his address to J Greer, Farmeyvale(?) Sydney, he will hear of something to his great advantage, as there is a large sum of money waiting for him as soon as he can send particulars of identity, also mother's maiden name and date of death.

BARRON: Robert Barron, son of Samuel Barron and Nancy Barron, otherwise Crawford, of Kilcrowe(?) County Antrim; went to America about 1851; wrote to his parents from Waterford, Canada West, in 1851, that he was going to Michigan to buy land; is entitled to legacy, and should communicate with Black, Solicitors, Belfast, Ireland.

BARRON: Samuel Barron, son of Samuel Barron and Nancy Barron, otherwise Crawford, of Templepatrick, County Antrim; emigrated to America about 1864; supposed to have been in the band of one of the regiments of the Northern Army; is entitled to legacy, and should communicate with Black, Solicitors, Belfast, Ireland..

BREWSTER: Wanted information regarding Charles Brewster; he was last heard of as chaplain at the American War. Any news about him will be gladly received by his brother, James Brewster, Landhead, Ballymoney, Co Antrim.

BUTLER: Wanted to know the whereabouts of James Butler, who left Manchester in 1891, and was last heard of as working in a restaurant in Melbourne, Australia. Any information will be gladly received by his brother, William Butler, 2 Fennel Street, Newton, Manchester. Australian papers please copy.

HUTCHINSON: Mrs Eliza Hunter, 54 Sydney Street West, Belfast, wished to learn the whereabouts of, or any information concerning, her sister, Anna Maria Hutchinson, a native of County Monaghan, who left Belfast for New York. She was last heard of on 18th May, 1868, from 161, Mill Street, Toxteth Park, Liverpool.

MAGILL: Information wanted of the whereabouts of William Magill, son of the late Samuel Magill, formerly of Bessbrook and Banbridge:- News thankfully received by Louis Magill, 8 Posnett Street, Belfast.

MCCONVILLE: Mary McConville, otherwise Sayers, wife of George McConville, of Ballynahatty, Shaws Bridge, Co Down; was at house of sister on Easter Monday, 1887, and was supposed to have gone to Balmoral Station. Entitled to legacy, and should communicate with C. & J. Black, Solicitors, Belfast.
